Contract

Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income. Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy. Prepares balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions. Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.

Highly Organized, Strong Communicator, able to coordinate and work with individuals across departments at all levels of the organization. This position is assigned to the Central Contracts and Billings Homeroom section of Contracts and Pricing, providing centralized services with regard to contract data management, billings functions, various program contract administration, compliance oversight, business agreements, administration of common technology tools, cross-contract issues, contract training support, and liaison services with the local Government and Auditing offices. Work location for this position will be at NNS’ West Park building in Hampton, VA (500 West Park Lane) which is located just off the interstate at Hampton Center Parkway.
