Job Skills / Requirements

Responsible for providing services and support to the organization focusing on accounts receivable, payment posting, general ledger account analysis and account reconciliation. Provides backup to accounts payable, collections and billing and works closely with Revenue Cycle Management Department. Supports Controller and CFO by participating in special projects as assigned. Role Responsibilities Enter and reconcile payments on a daily basis. Coordinate with Revenue Cycle Management to ensure proper billing/collections. Manage bank deposits and bank lockboxes. Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts. Apply customer payments. Calculate and pay customer rebates Research and solve payment discrepancies. Process credit card check and ACH payments. Adjust accounts as needed. Review open accounts for collection efforts. Add and cancel customers in the accounting system. Manage incoming phone calls by responding to request and assisting with inquiries. Ability to resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answer and alternative solutions; implementing solution and /or escalating unresolved. Follow department policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely resolution. Effectively communicate utilizing telephone, form letters, email, or internal correspondence to resolve patient inquiries and insurance issues. Attend and participate in team meetings. Maintain access to, and security of, highly sensitive materials. Maintain project productivity and quality goals. Other duties as assigned.
