Accounting Clerk/Purchasing

The responsibilities of this position include.

Accounts Payable

  • Prepare all payments for vendors
  • Track payments received for vendor services and determine when payments can be issued.
  • Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices
  • Communicate with Vendors regarding invoicing and payment issues.
  • Maintain vendor records
  • Accounts Receivable

  • Receive and apply customer payments
  • Contact customers for short pays, unsigned checks, or any other issues
  • Contact customer for collection of past due invoices
  • Process Credit Card Transactions
  • Apply ACH/Electronic payments.
  • Purchasing

  • Control and manage purchasing of all office supplies
  • Obtain approval and manage purchasing of all lab/field related equipment and supplies
  • Required Skills

  • Knowledge of and experience with QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Accounting background a must
  • Collections experience a plus but not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Job Type: Full-time

    Experience:

  • Accounts Payable: 3 years (Required)
