Job Description

Wicklow and Laurano Landscape Contractors is a growing mid-sized construction company seeking an administrative assistant with great customer service presence who can assist existing office staff. The candidate must be able to assist with performing a heavy call volume, the scheduling of appointments, and handling customer concerns. Also required is a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the managers and company supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.


  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
  • Answering high call volume; returning voicemails
  • Utilize Google Calendar and Google Drive for scheduling and billing
  • Assist existing office staff with invoicing service calls
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies.
  • Placing and expediting orders of supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute the mail. Administer mass mailing of marketing letters.
  • Uniform Management
  • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as; Greeting and assisting of visitors and clients, maintaining filing system, typing, copying, scanning etc.

  • High school diploma or equivalent education. Post-secondary courses in business or secretarial school desirable but not required.
  • Professional experience a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Construction experience a plus
  • Excellent administrative skills including: written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, organize, plan and prioritize work
  • Knowledge of computers required; Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Google Sheets/Drive
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus, must be willing to learn if not familiar with program

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation is $15-$20/hour based on experienceEmployee benefits includes:
