Job Description

The Application Specialist will work on assignments under the general direction of the Chief Administrative Officer and Application Support department. The individual should be self-motivated with a demonstrated aptitude for business-related technologies, a customer service mentality, and willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies. The Application Administrator will work as a liaison between Bank departments, IT teams, and third-party application providers.

  • Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, integrate, test, implement and maintain applications to meet the bank’s business initiatives.
  • Develop process solutions, providing product information, solution design and documentation to ensure effective use of business information.
  • Write basic and complex reports using Cognos.
  • Manage all interfaces between core processing software and third-party software applications. Ensure data integrity.
  • Manage data warehouse.
  • Performs work by determining priorities, analyzing alternatives and selecting applications methods and procedures for completion.
  • Work closely with members of the Application Support team, business stakeholders, functional users, and members of the IT team to understand business needs and provide application solutions.
  • Demonstrates a courteous, pleasant, self-motivated, and dependable behavior. Maintains a professional environment in both appearance and conduct.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of five years of experience in application support, report writing, data analysis and management, etc. i.e. Cognos (or equivalent) report writing, SalesForce (or equivalent) administration and/or data warehousing
  • Strong bank application experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
