This position is located in the Los Angeles Division, Los Angeles CA. The incumbent will perform the following duties:
Supervises a group of employees performing work at the GS-09/11 grade level(s).
Performs administrative and human resources management functions relative to the staff supervised.
Performs in-depth analysis in order to develop and interpret administrative policies and procedures.
Drafts correspondence, recommendations, reports and memoranda related to management and administrative programs and issues.
Analyzes and provides a full range of liaison services to support the administration of a complex budget.
Performs a wide-range of administrative duties to support budget administration for the organization.
Performs program liaison duties to address human resources administration issues.
Reviews, analyzes and interprets incoming human resources management requests.
Coordinates unusual requirements in managing services and supplies for an organizational facility.
Conducts periodic equipment/property inventories and resolves all discrepancies.
Provides administrative support with planning and coordinating of office moves.
Analyzes support processes and provides guidance for administering procurement that require varying approaches.
Evaluates and recommends ways to improve the effectiveness of work operations.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

GS-12: Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 Federal grade level performing the following duties; supervising a group of employees; directing and overseeing a full range of support and management services for a complex office in the areas of administrative management, personnel, vehicle, space utilization, property management and general office services; providing guidance to staff in preparing/justifying budget packages; and preparing procurement documentation, cost analyses and soliciting bids.
