Our Opportunity:

The Advisor Services Technology (AST) team is responsible for building applications for financial advisors. These solutions are essential to the success of the investment advisor and offer features such as client relationship management, portfolio accounting, trading, data integration, reporting and much more. AST offers a wide range of technology opportunities for the best and brightest people to grow and demonstrate their skills as they develop leading edge financial applications

What you’ll do:

The Associate QA Engineer will work closely with developers and other QA members to test new features and bug fixes. The right candidate will have sound knowledge of or end-user experience and be able to quickly learn basic QA concepts and best practices, and perform basic functions such as executing test cases and reviewing regression results in order to quickly determine if our products are ready for market.

What you have:

  • Bachelors of Computer Science or related field
  • 1 year of quality assurance or related work
  • Experience writing unit tests, developing a test plan
  • Basic automation knowledge, testing services, 'performance, volume & stress' testing.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and processes such as SCRUM
  • Strong written and verbal communications, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate successfully with business partners and technology teams
  • Self-starter who can grasp difficult concepts quickly
  • A yearning to understand and leverage new tools and technologies
