Business Analyst - UMR

Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Business Analyst with our UMR Internet Services team. We are a business team that supports updates to the web portal for members, providers and customers. This role is office based and you can be located in any Wisconsin office. This position is responsible for User Acceptance testing in CA Agile for Internet Services and the SME for the CPS web portal. The position is responsible for supporting and triaging portal issues with IT, entering the customer products into the web portal, creating and updating procedures as well as training of new staff in the team. The person in this role is also a liaison with the offshore team. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Add new clients to; Update existing clients
  • Perform client configuration audits
  • For development related to, coordinate user stories in Rally, execute UAT scenarios and report defects, if appropriate
  • Participate in production deployments based on set dates, and occasional off cycle deployments
  • Assist in creating and maintaining policy & procedure documentation.
  • Assist in the daily authorization process; finding efficiencies
  • Perform quality review for member registrations; finding efficiencies
  • Assist in triaging Internet Services mailbox for specific situations; researching specific issues to assist onshore team member, in resolution. Handling specific incoming emails, such as accounts moving to electronic, workorder review, SharePoint entry and maintenance
  • Posting SBC and 1557 documents
  • Submit HPSM tickets; assigned to portal IT
  • Participation in Design reviews, Code reviews, Test Case reviews and Application readiness reviews for new releases provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
  • Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of interaction with web portal or another member /provider portal
  • 1+ years of specific experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Intermediate or greater level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Project, Access, Word, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio
  • Microsoft SQL Server – Query Level and understanding of Relational Database Structures
  • Web development experience executing UAT & QA with AGILE approach
