Description

Randall-Reilly is looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT team! The Business Analyst will elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders across the company. This includes interviewing stakeholders across departments and at all levels to understand operational reporting needs and scope improvements to our CRM and ERP solutions.

Some responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.

2. Work with stakeholders and project team to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.

3. Utilize SQL skills to write custom queries, stored procedures and functions.

4. Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.

5. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements– both verbally or through written documentation – to project sponsors and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.

6. Works independently to provide for data transformation, testing, solving problems, end user support needs.

Skills/Background we're looking for:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst, project manager, systems analyst or similar in a technical environment
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, verification, and methodology development.
  • Ability to create specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to establish and execute against project plans and timelines
  • Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.
  • Working technical knowledge of SQL
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
