THE IMPACT YOULL MAKE:
As the Procurement Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support the optimization of strategic procurement system functionality, help maintain supplier related data in ABGs ERP system, extract spend and other data from multiple sources, perform analyses, generate operational and financial reports, track KPIs and summarize findings for reporting to management. These efforts will lead to organizational efficiencies, meeting cost savings objectives and ensuring sustainable improvements to company profitability. Data analytics includes supplier performance, savings, buyer compliance, financial impact, forecasting and predictive analytics. Based on the analysis results, you will identify and recommend improvements to procurement and related business processes. Your spend analyses will quantify alternative total cost of ownership scenarios assisting decision-making to deliver measurable cost savings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates additions and updates to eProcurement catalogs
• Develops and maintains reports to monitor buyers preferred supplier compliance
• Develops and maintains reports to monitor supplier performance and contract compliance
• Collects and analyzes spend data and related business data for operational productivity, financial results, and forecasting and predictive analytics
• Prepares and organizes analysis and reports into an understandable format for Procurement management and its stakeholders
• Engages with ABG information technology and suppliers to set-up processes for standardized data extracts, management reporting and analytics
• Collaborates with the Procurement and other ABG functions as necessary to achieve the data and reporting quality objectives; works with ABG business and information technology, and suppliers, to resolve data and reporting issues, including discrepancies in information and reporting formats
• Responsible for analytical database designs, administration, security and maintenance

• Procurement/Finance/Business or quantitative analysis/statistics Bachelors degree; Masters degree in quantitative analysis/statistics or similar quantitative field of study is a plus.

• Requires excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel expertise
• Familiar with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), data access and reporting tools (e.g., PCBS, Oracle Fusion OTBI) with the requisite computer skills
• Excellent financial and analytical abilities with functional knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to construct well-written, thorough and professional emails and PowerPoint presentations
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, manage projects, and work in a fast-paced environment to quickly provide data analytics to Avis Budget Groups Procurement function and its stakeholders and suppliers
• Work requires the ability to quickly and accurately read, comprehend, analyze and produce analyses and written materials
• Basic understanding of client server and mainframe technologies, as well as with intranet and Internet networking
• Experience working with an enterprise financial or ERP system particularly Oracle Financials is a plus
• Interest in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, supplier and organizational relationship development, project management and stakeholder management
