Berkeley Lab has an opening for an experienced Business Systems Analyst in the Environment, Health, and Safety Division (EHS). This position will act as a liaison to program managers or functional owners for EHS business system initiatives. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for performing a range of business analysis activities involving highly complex technical or multi/disciplinary initiatives and technology implementations that are critical to the strategic advancement of the EHS Division. Activities include planning, performing, and implementing system improvements and initiatives, in addition to maintenance support of operational systems and ensuring that systems perform as designed. Business analysis functions may include data gathering, best practice research, process mapping, application design, evaluating improvement alternatives, developing performance metrics, obtaining leadership or stakeholder agreement, and monitoring post-process improvement initiative performance to updated standards. This position will partner with management, project champions, project managers, program managers, and functional owners to execute the project and deliver results by constructing and maintaining effective key partnerships with numerous stakeholders within the EHS Division and throughout the Laboratory.
