Call Center Representative

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Report directly to the Customer Service Manager
  • Manage a large number of incoming calls and emails
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interaction and details of actions taken
  • Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
  • Cancel or modify accounts as requested by customers
  • Be friendly and courteous at all times to fellow employees and the general public
  • Any other duties assigned by Global Meals

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Team player, able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Excellent communication, administrative and multitasking skills
  • Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 to $13.00 /hour
