The Commercial Operations Analyst-National Accounts will support national account sales activities and provide analytical insights to drive key business decisions. The role will contribute to the development of strategic business plans, support demand planning and replenishment, and lead price promotion and margin analysis. It will also manage pricing portals and trackers (ex. Managing retail link for Walmart).
Produce growth in sales and related gross profit via price management. Identify and communicate specific opportunities to improve specific price structures as well as our pricing processes. Produce a minimum of GP improvement of $200K per year via these activities.
Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and implement company sales and marketing strategies. Communicate company directives on price actions in alignment with strategy. Analyze present retail environment to ensure price-volume relationships are in line with brand strategy.
Apply rigor to Sales and Marketing strategies and tactics. Provide analytical support in areas of volumetrics, pricing, competitive intelligence, financial analysis to Sales and Marketing managers. Sell recommendations and evaluate/communicate results throughout the organization.
Become the lead expert on assigned analytic processes and tool. Manage any vendor relationships, all process/technology improvements, all training and overall performance of this analytic process and tool.
Support Sales and Marketing planning activities to ensure goals and accountability are achieved across all Brands and Markets. Support the development of key Brand/Sales presentations and business reviews- with a focus on actions to improve revenue and profitability.
Participate in the implementation of any new analytic tools and processes. Work to achieve the overall gal of being the best Commercial Analytics support team in the industry by 2016. Utilize specific priority and project management techniques to ensure your work in on-time, on budget, and supports the goals of the group and Sazerac.
Twice a year review your training and development activities and opportunities. Ensure that your career growth in our track and in line with your goals and the company s needs. Develop the ability to conduct the entire range of Sazerac Price Training programs.
