Job Description --------------- The Vlocity Success Community, launched in November, is our secured customer, partner, and employee-facing portal. It includes all of our technical resources, including our documentation, Knowledge Base, and single sign-on access to Vlocity University. Built on the Salesforce Community Cloud, it also includes several collaboration channels including Groups, Ideas, and Answers. The site already has 13,000 users. We're looking for an experienced community manager to support and develop our community. In this role, you'll build a rapport with our community and develop scalable programs based on analytics. You'll be the primary line of communication between our internal team and our community members. You'll manage day-to-day operations and drive programs to increase the value of the community in several key areas including robust communication, engagement, and evangelism in support of self-service objectives. You'll also be involved in supporting derivative portals, including the community we plan to develop for our partners. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
  • Moderate day-to-day activity and monitor community health
  • Based on audience, content, and search analytics, develop strategies and programs to increase usage and engagement to drive self-help (including case deflection)
  • Monitor and implement new Salesforce Community Cloud features
  • Research and help implement other technologies as required, such as search
  • Help develop and support derivative community sites
  • Help prepare, format, edit materials for the sites
  • Qualifications You have a passion for making customers successful. You're a gifted writer, and have a penchant for making complex topics easy and engaging. You're always scouring the web for new and creative ways to communicate product information. You know who's doing it right, and emulate them. You're aware of the best practices and want to create some of your own. Minimum Requirements
  • 3 years of community management experience, preferably on the Salesforce Community Cloud, showing gradual growth and engagement of members
  • Command of HTML and CSS
  • Experience implementing, monitoring, and improving search using metadata and other strategies
  • Ability to think strategically, using analytics as a guiding force
  • Stellar academic background. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Must enjoy the challenges and opportunities of a start-up environment
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and drive
  • US work permit required
  • Preferred Skills
  • Salesforce Admin certification
  • Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant certification
  • Skills in producing and supporting multimedia content including text, graphics, and videos
