Thank you for considering Rowland Unified School District, home of multiple award winning schools!RUSD is seeking a highly skilled professional with a expertise in the following areas:• Accommodations and augmentative supports• Specialized instructional intervention methods and systems• Assistive Technologies• Working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)• IEP Policy and Procedure• Aligning Common Core State Standards to IEP goals and objectives• Service delivery models (including co-teaching, and push-in)• Working with outside agenciesThe primary function of the Coordinator is to provide training and supervision to teachers and other related staff to assure implementation of instructional objectives, lessons, therapies, interventions, and strategies that are congruent with the unique learning needs of the students identified in RUSD. The Coordinator supports the staff in identifying and/or designing appropriate educational resources, including supports and curriculum aligned with the Common Core Standards and each students’ Individualized Educational Plan. The Coordinator will support staff in acquiring the skills and application of best practices to enhance the professional growth of staff in instructional practices for all students to raise the level of student achievement and to support students in learning essential academic skills that will contribute to their growth.Rowland Unified serves a diverse, multilingual student community. RUSD requires applicants have a valid California Administrative Credential and/or California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the area of responsibility and must hold a CLAD or similar authorization for instruction to English Learners.
