Job Description


QRP, Inc’s goal is to achieve total customer satisfaction in the sale and delivery of its Quick Release Pins and additional manufactured products. All of QRP’s design and production efforts are focused on the manufacture of consistent, repeatable and reliable machined and assembled products. QRP drives for continual improvement in its Quality Management System with the purpose of overall customer service.



  • Design new & derivative products, including quick release pins and latch products
  • Perform design analyses, such as stress hand calculations, fatigue & basic reliability calculations, and tolerance stack-up
  • Support internal and customer PDR and CDR design reviews
  • Oversee development and testing of prototypes
  • Solid modeling, drafting and checking drawings
  • Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or aerospace engineering degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to perform stress analysis hand calculations (will train on QRP product specifics)
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Must be self-reliant and have a high degree of ownership/follow-through
  • Some travel is expected; visits to customer & testing sites supporting development and design review activities
  • Job Type: Full-time
