One River School of Art + Design is on an ambitious plan to transform art education across America and we are seeking compelling educators to join our company and grow with us. One River has become the voice for contemporary art and design within its communities by developing a new method for teaching which celebrates what is current and relevant in today s art and design worlds.

We are looking for experienced digital artists with a desire to teach a wide variety of classes to artists of all ages. Our programs develop enthusiastic young digital artist through the following specializations: Digital Drawing/Painting/Illustration, Animation, Design, 3D sculpting, Comics, Cartooning, Photography, Film and more!

Our digital studios are state of the art and you will be helping to develop a new generation of competent, ambitious, digital artists with a hunger for creating powerful artworks. Teaching at One River is a completely different experience than any other art program in the country and we look forward to having you join us!

Digital Art - Animation Instructor Qualifications

  • BFA or BA required, priority to applicants with a MFA or MA
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite - with an emphasis on Adobe Animate
  • Additional program expertise a plus: ToonBoom, Maya, Character Animator
  • Experience teaching digital art & media or design centric curriculum
  • Strong technical skills and subject matter expertise
  • Active independent art making practice
  • Interests in developing digital curriculum
  • Passion for working with talented, ambitious people and creating a fun/interactive experience
