Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*
*Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*
Shift: Shift 2
The Entrance Screener acts as the first point of contact for patients and visitors by providing symptom screening upon entrance to Froedtert Hospital. Team members in this role will be knowledgeable in our Customer Service Standards and Visitor policy guidelines. All aspects of the role should be achieved through continuous demonstration of Froedtert Mission and Values. Must be committed to the continuous improvement of the patient experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service. Position will be based at designated entrances to the hospital.
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is required. Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is required. High School Graduate (or equivalent knowledge).
Ability to develop rapport quickly with all patients, guests, staff and department leadership. Ability to navigate and establish priorities in an often-ambiguous environment. Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of customers in a friendly, courteous manner, and actively listen to successfully determine the customer's needs. Ability to interact with a diverse client population and provide excellent customer service. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, interpedently and collaboratively. Demonstrated organizational and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities. Ability to take initiative and self-manage daily tasks. Ability to problem-solve, manage conflict, address customer concerns and complaints, and initiate recovery steps for service failures. Demonstrated ability to operate standard equipment. Bilingual.
