We are currently looking to add our team with an exciting opportunity as Executive & Marketing Coordinator at IBTX, an Acrisure Agency Partner. This position will be responsible for assisting in obtaining and retaining ideal clients. The success of this role is measured by the success of business development initiatives, sales process efficiency and implementation resulting in increased new sales and profitable revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Executive with special projects, calendar management, event coordination, meeting coordination, etc.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and events to include confirming the date, ordering food and beverage, preparing meeting materials, etc.
  • Assist the marketing team with agency-organized events for clients and prospects, such as the golf tournaments,
  • Responsible for direct oversight of sales management system to include reporting, training and overall effective system utilization.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with the members of the sales team to discuss cross sell strategy and lead and opportunity progress as shown in the sales management system.
  • Research leads lists based on strategic agency business development campaigns.
  • Pull leads from producers after inactivity, research, and reassign them.
  • Provide a high level of communication to all sales team members related to their leads to ensure we are gathering the most information possible.
  • Record lead sources and other specifics regarding each lead and opportunity.
  • Coordinate and report on the new client welcome and ongoing client stewardship process.
  • Record client and prospect reaches for actions such as but not limited to attendance to seminars, webinars, agency-sponsored events, gifts, special occasions, etc.
  • Measure, monitor and report sales activities as needed to achieve agency and sales team benchmarks
  • Understand the business operations and growth model of IBTX
  • Collaborate with team members when brainstorming possible growth campaigns
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and service teams by effectively communicating strategies and tactics
  • Assist with team organization and accountability when working with multiple teams on an opportunity
  • Follow up with sales or business related actions to gauge movement with leads, associations, or centers of influence and record or report back to the Director of Operations.
  • Measure and monitor the sales process to ensure critical steps of the new business process are completed.
  • Record all opportunities and their progress in the agency management system.
  • Monitor follow-up time with prospects to ensure the team is following up in a timely manner.

    Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates Degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required
  • 3-5 years of related experience in sales, marketing, business development or project management, required
  • Technology Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Other Qualifications:

  • Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.
  • Excellent coordination and facilitation skills across teams
  • Project management skills and ability to keep a team focused and adhere to a timeline
  • Strong data analytics skills to process report findings and assist in developing action items based off the findings
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
  • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work extended hours and various work schedules
  • Strong attention to detail; good proofreading skills
  • Excellent reliability, initiative, and stress tolerance
  • Ability to perform in a professional appearance and manner
