Fabrication 3D Modeler/Drafter

Job Description

Montana Ironworks is looking for a drafter/3D modeler. We are a metal fabrication company with architectural, heavy industrial and structural divisions.

We need someone who is proficient in 3D modelling in CAD or Revit. Experience working in Plant 3D is not required but is very helpful. Experience with or a desire to learn how to operate a plasma/waterjet table is a bonus. You will be creating 2D & 3D models, miscellaneous designs, shop drawings and blueprints for everything from stair railings to tank valves.

Verbal communication is vital to this position. We need someone who can effectively collaborate with designers to create models, drawings, etc. This person will also need to be able to communicate design intent or problems with the designers and receive feedback in order to modify designs further. The ability to communicate effectively and work with people who may have a variety of communication styles is integral to this position.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

This is not a remote position. Candidates need to be able to report for work at our shop in Laurel, MT.
