Job Description


The 9th Contracting Squadron requires contract administrator support services that include but are not limited to the following: Pre-award functions, price & cost analysis, preparation of award and supporting documentation, contract administration, contract closeout, pricing support, training, information technology and other acquisition duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity (0730 to 1630 with one hour break for lunch) with period of performance from 15 Sep 2019 to 14 Sep 2020 and an option year from 15 Sep 2020 to 14 Sep 2021. Benefits are available.

Responsibility Summary

  • Provide acquisition support for awards, modifications and/or various complex/nonstandard contract related support functions with little to no supervision required.
  • Contractor will perform acquisition functions from pre-award, to post-award, to the final contract termination/close-out.
  • Contractor will review procurement requests to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations and sufficiency of technical specifications or purchase description and supporting information.
  • Contractor will determine the suitability of set-asides, such as small business set asides, in accordance with all applicable laws.
  • Contractor will review justifications for other than full and open competition and make recommendations for approving and disapproving choices to limit competition.
  • Contractor develops solicitation documents and other contractual documentation, such as determinations and findings, justifications, solicitation amendments, supporting memoranda.
  • Contractor will review bids or proposals for compliance to solicitation and determine contractor responsibility, which includes making competitive range determinations.

Employee Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Hold a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 1 certification;
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations;
  • Proficient in the use of Procurement Desktop (PD2) or similar programs, and additional commercial software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary: $62,000.00 to $67,000.00 /year
