Financial Coordinator

Seeking Highly Skilled and Professional Financial Coordinator for Our Dental Practice

We are a progressive Dental Office with an immediate opening for a part-time or full-time financial coordinator. We offer a friendly work atmosphere, achievable bonuses, and competitive pay. Experience in the dental field is NOT required. We will train the right person. We are an EOE.

Primary Job Duties Include:

Managing/making financial arrangements. Presenting treatment plans to patients. Helping patients decide payment options, including assisting patients with financing applications, reviewing amortization schedules and finalizing patient payment plans.

Secondary Job Duties Include:

Answer inquiries and obtain information for the general public, patients, insurance companies, visitors, and other interested parties. Provide information to callers. Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.

Ideal Candidate:

Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone. Must be articulate, detailed, service-oriented and have good, basic math skills. A background in finance, accounting or banking is a plus. Candidates must be resourceful, self-motivated, and have strong verbal and written skills, excel in spelling and grammar, have a positive team attitude, and have a work-ethic to be productive while working unsupervised. An ability to multi-task is required. Flexibility and an understanding that your job duties may change from time to time and that you may be asked to “help out” in other areas of the office is needed.

Required Experience:

The successful candidate will have a two-year or four-year college degree preferably in finance or similar area of study and 2+ years of relevant experience. Computer proficient with solid knowledge of MS Office(Word/Excel), PowerPoint, Outlook. Macintosh knowledge, banking, sales and marketing experience is a plus.
