Job Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to work with directors and department heads as well as with the Student Affairs Shared Services supervisor to perform fiscal analysis, accounting, and budgeting of business activities for assigned units with an emphasis on excellent customer service.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    Knowledge of:
  • Budget and reporting practices
  • Finance and accounting practices
  • Computer software applications and systems (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Database development and maintenance
    Skill & Ability to:
  • Interpret, comprehend and apply laws, rules and regulations for institution, state, federal and a variety of funding agencies
  • Research, compile and analyze data
  • Provide high level of accuracy with attention to detail
  • Prioritize projects to meet competing deadlines
  • Maintain effective working relationships
  • Communicate information clearly, concisely and accurately

Comments: The Student Affairs Shared Services Financial Program Assistant will provide timely and professional services that support or enhance the instructional, research and service goals of the division. This individual will be expected to maintain successful relationships and frequent communication with department heads and directors from Student Affairs departments who receive service from the Student Affairs Shared Service Center.
