DuPont Nutrition & Health has exciting career opportunities for Logistics Technicians. The Logistics Technician provides superior value through unyielding focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. We are seeking highly motivated, dependable self-starters who are interested in working in growing cGMP facilities which produce industry-leading cellulosic products for the pharmaceutical excipient and food markets and are key asset to business results. The position has responsibility for the packaging and distribution of these products. These entry-level positions are excellent opportunities to launch a career in manufacturing with a world-class specialty product company. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Packaging products for our global customers
  • Proper documentation of batch records and labeling of product
  • Focal point for material movement
  • Interacting with chemical processes
  • Preparing raw materials for operations
  • Manually breaking-down pallets of material and products
  • Arranging, stacking, and repackaging all types of materials and products
  • Affixing labels, stickers or booklets on packaged materials
  • Safe operation of a fork lift or other heavy equipment

  • Job Details
  • Starting pay is $13.39/hr with a $0.50 shift differential. Pay increases to $14.39/hr after 1 year.
  • These roles have been excellent proving grounds with opportunity for advancement
  • Overtime is available in these roles
  • Benefits (medical, dental, 401K, vacation / et al.) are available upon hire.

    Job Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:
  • Current, valid, United States driver's license.
  • Able to work all applicable shifts on a rotating basis (including weekends & holidays) and work overtime when needed.
  • Able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • Successfully complete a background check.
  • Pass a drug screen if job offer is received and accepted.
  • Pass a functional physical testing and be able to use standard safety equipment which is rated for 300 pounds or less. (Physical capabilities test will be conducted by an outside vendor.)
  • Lift 50 pound bags of material.
  • Climb ladders, stairs and work at heights.
  • Work in tight or closed-in spaces.
  • A minimum requirement of this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 years of relevant Military experience
  • Chemical Technology Associates degree / Fast Start Degree
  • 4+ years Manufacturing experience
  • Educational Requirement:
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
