Job Description

Racker(6:00am - 3:00pm)(3:00pm - CLOSE)Take Off(6:45am - 3:45pm)(3:45pm - CLOSE)

JOB SUMMARYThese entry-level positions work in the Anodizing Department. Rackers are responsible for affixing small aluminum parts onto titanium metal anodizing racks. This position also includes basic visual inspection of parts ensuring quality specifications are met. Take Off is responsible for visually inspecting and removing finished parts from a moving anodizing line.


  • Works within close proximity of others
  • Lifts and carries boxes of parts weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Identifies part imperfections according to quality specifications
  • Differentiates between different sizes, shapes and styles of parts
  • Fulfills the requirements of each position on the racking line including lead racker, buffer-racker, wheel and autoload racking positions during shift.
  • Builds boxes for finished goods as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Take Off

  • Properly removes all finished parts from the row.
  • Consistently picks-out and remove defects from a moving line.
  • Follows all standard work procedures.
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • Differentiates between scrap defects and re-run defects
  • Packs finished parts efficiently
  • Any other duties as requested

  • Ability to use both hands to pick-up and manipulate small parts simultaneously
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekends
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Can successfully work in a team environment
  • Willing to take direction from others
  • Ability to differentiate between different sizes, shapes, styles and colors
  • Ability to read/set scales
  • Job Type: Full-time
