Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director for Pharmaceutical Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept beautiful and highly creative event space graphics in 2D and 3D formats
  • Execute designs that tell an impactful campaign/product story, working closely with senior and executive staff for direction
  • Translate approved campaign master creative concepts and layouts into various sizes and formats while maintaining the original creative intent
  • Concept, create and deliver a strong design solution across various branded materials including but not limited to digital assets, brochures, presentations, sales and marketing sheets
  • Maintain and further elevate the brand aesthetic across all print and digital touch-points
  • Working to various timelines, in a fast-paced environment, while always delivering creative that is accurate and consistent
  • Always ensuring graphics produced support a strong, focused, brand vision
  • Able to create a compliant product insert for RX products
  • Prepare, package and spec files for print/web, working closely with external teams and vendors (i.e. proofing, color-matching, exporting GIFs, and approving for print)
  • Ensure that all creative produced meets all brief requirements, this includes but is not limited to correct dimensions, resolution, format and die-lines
  • Contributing to group brainstorms and new idea sharing
  • Expert knowledge of print production methods and techniques that help elevate design
  • Correctly exporting digital assets to all needed formats
  • Organize and maintain project and digital archives.
  • Communicate with cross functional departments, including but not limited to the PR (Marketing), Events, Social Media, and Education departments in order to work through project requirements
  • Prepare, package and spec files for print, working closely with external production vendors (i.e. proofing, color-matching and approving for print)
  • Keeping up with current and upcoming trends within the industry, pushing out of the box creative thinking
  • Required Skills

  • BA or B.F.A. in Graphic Design
  • 5-7 years Graphic Design experience within an in-house, design or agency setting mandatory.
  • _*3-5 years experience designing in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries required.

  • 3-5 years packaging design experience required.
  • Expertise in print production mandatory
  • Expertise in digital design – website, email and digital ads – with good understanding of HTML, responsive design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Creative Cloud InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop mandatory
  • 3D imaging software knowledge
  • Must be a self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative
  • Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, both written and verbal
  • Creative, collaborative team player, and able to contribute ideas in group settings
  • Exemplary organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Able to meet deadlines in high pressure environments
  • Able to work multiple projects simultaneously and meet due dates in timely manner
  • Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
