Graphic Designer--Mid-Level Designer with motion skills

Job Description

Stoke is looking for a full-time graphic designer, preferably with a BFA, that also has some motion graphics/animation skills. You must be a proactive designer that thrives in a team setting.

Who we’re looking for:

You have 3-7 years (mid-level) experience in graphic design, with some animation skills

You've worked in a studio, production, or agency setting

You have amazing graphic design skills. You can complete projects from concept to final delivery, and all the design and animation in between.

You have a foundation in graphic design (BFA degree preferred).

You’re very familiar with your crafts (the principles of visual design, 12 principles of animation, proficient skills in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).

You regularly haunt Motionographer, Its Nice That, etc. for motion and design inspiration.

You're good at communicating: You speak clearly, you write clear and complete sentences, you respond to email and Slack quickly.

You like challenging projects, but you also don’t mind doing simple tasks from time to time.

You implement efficient workflows for design and animation.

You have excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and organization skills

Main Responsibilities:

Work together with our Creative Director and team of art directors, designers, animators, writers, and strategists

Complete design projects from concept to final delivery

Visual design/graphic design inside Illustrator, Photoshop

2D animation/Motion graphics inside After Effects

Problem solving

Work quickly and efficiently to produce great design and animation work

Bonus points for:

Illustration

InDesign

3D animation inside Cinema 4D

Character animation

Hand drawn/Cell animation

Salary: $50,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year

Experience:
