About OSPIN
At OSPIN, we are building the bioreactors of the future. We are a rapidly growing company that is passionate about finding solutions to automate bioprocessing through state of the art devices and web applications. At the core of our business is our modular OSPIN platform, which seeks to disrupt the traditional approach to bioprocessing and transform the industry.
About the role
The OSPIN Team is looking for a Hardware Testing Engineer who places importance on her/his quality of work and helps maintaining our high quality standards. You will be responsible for the testing and verification of all our devices, including our bioreactors, specialised devices, 3rd party integrations and partner projects. This comes in the form of going through test protocols for the individual elements (sensors, actuators, controllers), set-up of bioprocessing control loop tests (for example, having the fluid paths connected, with medium prepared to test the pH controller) and the final testing of the device through the use of our easy-to-use Web UI.
You will be supported and part of the Hardware team, while working in close collaboration with other teams, such as Mechanical, WebDev, Bio & Leadership. For any new section and for each different domain, you will be assisted by the internal expert and by the surrounding team. This is a hands-on role, where you will touch on many different subjects and have the opportunity to learn from multiple domains.
In addition to the test responsibilities, as part of the Hardware team, you will be able to contribute to the development and production of our hardware. This ranges from the soldering of boards to the design of PCBs.
You will be part of a dynamic team that is very open and places importance on a collaborative atmosphere. You will work side-by-side with passionate people who are excited to grow together as a group and as engineers.
