Organization & Department OverviewThe ICG Chief Data Office (CDO) is critical to managing Citigroup's businesses and to meet numerous regulatory and management reporting requirements. The ICG CDO partners with Citigroup's Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO), ICG businesses, operations & technology, as well as Global Functions including Finance, Risk, and Compliance in an enterprise-wide data quality management discipline continuously striving to improve, monitor, measure, and control data quality. This team's remit also includes delivering project management, business analysis, and strategic planning services leading to improved controls and efficiencies in infrastructure and operational processes.The ICG CDO is responsible for planning, implementation, communications, training, compliance monitoring, and establishment of Citigroup's Controlled Data Management Environment supporting our Enterprise Information Assets. The DGO is also responsible for data governance activities for their Business or Global Function on behalf of Senior Management.This is a senior role within the ICG CDO organization and will be responsible for the Data Quality Concern Resolution and will support the ICG CDO in various initiatives to improve data quality across ICG globally. This position will interface with Global Functions (Finance, Risk, and Compliance), Global Functions Technology, Business, and ICG Operations & Technology leadership. Job DescriptionGlobal lead for Data Quality Concern ResolutionManage a team of business analysts and external consultantsMaintain a robust process for tracking and managing issues to resolutionEnsure adherence to Data Quality Concern Key Process Indicators (KPIs)Monitor and escalate KPI fails to appropriate senior levelsManage MIS function to maintain a set of robust metrics that provide transparency of issues to senior managersWork with ICG Business, Global Functions, and O&T Partners to identify data quality defects that are eligible for IMR.Ensure compliance with Citigroup's Data Management Policy and StandardsWill be actively involved in data tracing dispositioning, including the development of the ICG data tracing dispositioning process.This is a high visibility and impactful role that also provides support for critical regulatory initiativesPrioritization of Data Quality Concern items based on the business data quality reports and urgency of the issuesWork with CDO team on strategic initiatives mainly related to the Data Quality Concern Resolution process.Establish requirements that align with external regulations or standards for the creation and maintenance of data by data producers.Effectively manage ad hoc requests, upcoming projects, status preparation and communications for deliverablesManage, track, and control ICG deliverables to ensure Citigroup regulatory requirements are met and comply with our regulators (e.g., FRB, OCC, etc.)Prepare status reports for working group, steering committee, and executivesCreate and manage the development of individual project artifacts including scoping documents, project plans, score cards, risk & issue trackers, business requirements documentation, functional requirements documentation, traceability matrices, test plans /scripts, RACI stakeholder models, and governance structuresIdentifies key risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordinglyDeliver and maintain a strong communication plan and artifacts among varied stakeholders (e.g., operations, technology, front office, compliance, legal, etc.)Required SkillsBachelor's Degree in business related disciple preferred or equivalent experience in related field7-10 years of demonstrated experience in a project, program management, or operations role with project management experiencePeople management experience requiredKnowledge of securities and financial instruments requiredAble to leverage strong business acumen to effectively interact with senior leaders and a broad variety of stakeholdersStrong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams through direct and matrix reporting lines.Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in prioritiesStrong executive presence; confident in presenting a balanced view to key stakeholders and senior managementProven successful track record of navigating operations and technology organizations, effective communication to senior leadership and driving results across global organizationsExperience in trade processing front-to-back, capital markets, operations, and support & control areas preferredExperienced in building project plans, sequencing deliverables, and issues managementExperienced in business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysisExperienced in consulting with project stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME), including the skills to facilitate compromises, resolve conflicting requirements, and manage competing prioritiesExperienced in working across technology and business projects and managing inter-dependencies between themData oriented with excellent attention to detail and strong data analysis skillsMust possess excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions, and be assertive while promoting a collaborative and partnering environmentStrong interpersonal and influencing skillsAbility to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledgeAbility to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiativeAbility to give focused attention to details and deliver high quality work while managing competing priorities under pressureExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced knowledge and proficiency of MS OfficeStrong teamwork skills with ability to work and partner globally across different geographic locations
