Job Description

LPE is seeking an Application Engineer to support sales and our customers' fluid handling requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or experience in related field
  • Responsibilities:

  • Work as a team member with a highly motivated and experienced staff
  • Be responsible, ethical, professional, and trustworthy
  • Provide sales quotations and sales order support
  • Provide "fluid engineering" technical assistance to customers and staff
  • Be "solutions" oriented
  • Be willing to attend vendor sponsored engineering courses to further improve your knowledge of fluid handling products
  • Be self-motivated to provide excellence in all you do
  • Be detail-oriented
  • Be able to solve problems with speed and accuracy
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Have the "customer first" attitude
  • Build relationships with customer and staff through accurate recommendations and timely responses
  • Be well organized
  • Be intelligent and articulate with excellent communication skills
  • Be able to quickly understand and apply fluid handling principles and concepts
