Job Summary:

TruHome Solutions has fully hosted Information Technology environment, including the use of Microsoft365, Microsoft SharePoint Online, and a hosted limited-use data center. The IT Data Analyst will be responsible for operational effectiveness of data operations across multiple platforms, primarily Microsoft SQL for ongoing development of operating assets, including service quality, architecture, and support escalations. Functions as a relationship liaison to business and adjunct IT elements to support business objectives. Manages, configures and oversees structured data and the knowledge management component of ongoing support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the VP, Information Technology to continuously improve and maintain the data domain and architecture of systems and services to support service levels.
  • The role provides an opportunity to understand, evaluate and streamline the company s core data development support model and will include interactions with business stakeholders as well as key IT personnel.
  • Knowledge and experience applying advanced and developing new cloud computing data principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Demonstrates experience with planning, designing, and engineering enterprise class database and data reporting services. Proven ability to lead change across platforms and functional areas using innovative technology solutions.
  • Design, implement, and support of MSSQL 2016, including some DBA responsibilities shared across IT.
  • Designs, implements and supports data ETL transfers and nightly scheduling of jobs, including dependencies, error alerting and health reporting as appropriate.
  • Supports nightly refresh of data warehouse systems and proactively resolves problems or disruptions in these processes.
  • Contributes to data driven testing framework, which aides in the stability, integrity, and accuracy of all data operations.
  • Observe the highest level of confidentiality and a “data security first approach to all management and development activity.
  • Occasional after hours availability as needed to support projects and escalations
  • Implement data models and database designs, data access and maintenance plans.
  • Employs SDLC and ALM concepts, including source control for all code and object changes.
  • Performs root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Hands on technical ability managing Microsoft SQL, including SQL syntax, ETL, SSIS, SSRS, Stored Procedures, data warehousing (SCD), and database cloud platforms (Azure SQL)
  • Development capability in Visual Studio
  • Source control (Team Foundation Services)
  • Skilled technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Detail-oriented technical writing ability and knowledge base management
  • Demonstrated innovative solutions experience
  • High level of personal integrity and confidentiality
  • Works independently and precisely with minimal supervision

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of progressive and varied database development, and data models experience in a process-oriented position
  • 2+ years direct implementation of database systems in a corporate environment
  • Experience with cloud-based applications (SaaS), specifically Microsoft365 and Microsoft Azure SQL
  • Microsoft SQL DBA experience a plus
  • Microsoft and/or other relevant industry certification(s) a plus

Working Conditions:

This position is expected to work in general office environment. In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time. Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
