Job Description:
The candidate will be working on software development projects that will enhance First Data's capability to provide industry analytics, operational reporting, and data integration services to its largest merchant including Walmart, Apple, Amazon, and Google. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on applications that are scaled to process and deliver information on hundreds of millions of transaction per day. Applications are diverse in technology as First Data's merchants are diverse in their requirements for delivery information.
Responsibi[link removed] Working within a small, autonomous team to design and develop certain business capabilities as microservices, these capabilities are currently in the domain of facilitating the car-shopping experience, such as payment estimation, deal recommendations, etc.
• Developing full-stack applications, endowed with interactive, mobile-responsive interfaces (both consumer-facing, and administrative screens), performant interfaces (e.g. REST/RPC), business logic (i.e. algorithmic design), and persistence models.
• Working in a high-caliber team to craft a software-development approach that accelerates concept-to-market velocity, with an ever-increasing level of quality.

• The knack for solving software design problems.
