Essential Duties Serves as the liaison between the customer community and the development teams through which requirements flow Conducts interviews and leads requirements gathering sessions with business representatives to elicit and document business requirements for system development Effectively communicate issues to business customers and elicit feedback for applications programmers and technology solution providers Developmaintain use cases and workflow scenarios Identifies requirements for testing and helps develops test plans for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Helps managetest the User Acceptance Testing plan with the business entities Applies use of tools to define requirements and documentation Acts as Subject Matter Expert for assigned projects and processes Works with the IT analyst to conduct production issue triaging and escalation as it relates to requirementstechnical issues for the clientproject Collaborates with systems development and design personnel Acts as liaison between systems software development staff, management, and system end-users to determine requirements and obtain sign-off. Provides training and technical support to system end-users. Follows up with internal stakeholders about completed tasks to ensure client satisfaction. Ability to consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position. Minimum Requirements Combination of 1+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in an Insurance business environment. Bachelorrsquos degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Good knowledge of software platforms, business systems and database design practices. Experience using Business Analyst tools to include, MS Office suite, MS Project, database query language, time tracking tools, Use CaseUML, QA for test case development, execution and defect trackingissue tracking software.
