Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Designer to join an established local company. Lyon & Billard Lumber, CT's oldest independent lumber retailer is looking for a Kitchen Designer/Salesperson to work in our Cabinetry Dept at our Berlin Design Center.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and sales of cabinetry, counter-top materials and accessories.
  • Measure & layout projects at job sites whenever required.
  • Create and maintain accurate quotes & pricing records.
  • Customer coverage in Showroom Mon-Fri and alternating Saturdays is required.whenever off-site appointments are not scheduled.
  • Follow up with existing customers & generate new sales leads.
  • Create & maintain good working relationships with customers, vendors & co-workers.
  • Required Experience

  • 2+ years verifiable kitchen sales & design experience.
  • Solid knowledge of cabinetry, counter-top materials & kitchen design for both new construction & remodeling projects.
  • Computer literate-20/20 Design software is especially desirable.
  • Established Customer List & following.
  • Attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously in an often fast paced environment.
  • Good organization & time management skills.
  • Job Type: Full-time
