Job Description
Purpose of Position The Kitchen Manager position will have complete responsibility of the kitchen and innovate kitchen processes to guarantee quality consistency and maintain food safety. The Kitchen Manager will maintain a positive work environment that focuses on cleanliness, food safety, professionalism and proper Chick-Fil-A procedures. Requirements/ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions Delegate kitchen duties and team members’ daily tasks and operations.Coordinate to create and implement kitchen training procedures with the Training Director.Meet the requirements of the Restaurant Operations Evaluation inspections.Set clear objectives for kitchen on a periodic basis; weekly, monthly goals such as eliminating waste, LEAN systems, fresher food, etc.Maintain highest quality of food and ensure food safety policies are followed according to Chick-Fil-A standards.Determine kitchen staffing needs/schedules based on business operations’ demand.Communicate effectively between back of the house and front of the house.Collaborate closely with the leadership team to assist in rollouts of new products and equipment.Train and coach team members and leaders on correct food preparation processes.Coordinate maintenance and repairs of kitchen equipment to ensure equipment is working properly and well maintained, such as boil-outs, filters changes, gasket cleanings, etc. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 1-2 years’ experience working in a restaurant kitchenPrevious Chick-fil-A or restaurant experience, preferredWorking knowledge of South Carolina Health Code and Food Safety ProceduresAbility to work on a team, hold team members accountable, and make decisions that align with the Operator vision and Chick-fil-A corporate mission statementMust be available to work Full-time 35 to 40 hours a week, flexible shiftsMust be available to work Saturday Special Instructions Please do not send any emails, resumes, or call.We are making it really easy to apply for this position.
