This position is within Reynolds American Services Company—a subsidiary that provides support services, including compliance, HR, law, finance, information management, and more to all of the subsidiaries of RAI.

The Lead Manager HR Analytics will be primarily responsible for building out comprehensive enterprise-wide employee reporting and metrics to inform decision-making processes. This individual will design and develop the reports and analytics needed to support the strategic and operational objectives of the Human Resources department as well as provide day-to-day support for internal and external stakeholders. This individual should exhibit credibility and knowledge in the HR reporting function as well as demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and support HR business reporting and data needs, including creation and maintenance of key data sets, reports, and metrics, embedding utilization throughout the function
  • Develop and implement workforce analyses, synthesizing multiple data sources to build robust insightful reports for management
  • Collaborate with US and Global analytics teams to design, develop and implement new and enhanced analytics, dashboards and reports across the HR function, as well as support projects in the analytics space
  • Runs regular audits over HR data and reports issues to be corrected
  • Act as an internal consultant for stakeholders, providing excellent customer service
  • Evaluate report requests and makes suggestions for improvements to better meet stakeholder requirements
  • Partner and develop relationships both internally and externally to provide data, analytics, and participate in special projects
  • Participate in various HR projects and deliver the source data for the analysis in the project team
  • Own and assist with ad hoc requests as needed

JOB SPECIFICATIONS


Education:


4 year degree required; degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Math, or related discipline strongly

Preferred


Knowledge/Experience::


  • 3+ years of relevant experience in HR or business reporting and analytics required
  • Demonstrated business analysis or workforce analysis capability
  • Skilled at querying databases as well as creating spreadsheets, generating dashboards and tracking effective
  • metrics using multiple data sources
  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and formulas; VBA experience a plus
  • Knowledge of or capacity to learn basic predictive analytical modeling techniques
  • Proficient in problem analysis, issue resolution, prioritizing, planning and time management
  • Experience in advanced analytics preferred

  • Proficient in the use of office technologies (MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) – experience in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Azure preferred
