Library Clerk

We are hiring for a part-time library clerk to work both the Main and Lasalle Library Branch circulation counters. Seeking an individual who likes order, is committed to providing a high level of customer service, is detail oriented, has a sense of humor, likes to answer questions and help their community.

Duties include: signing library items in and out using our computer automated inventory system, shelving items in correct locations, answering general questions about the library and our operations, answering the telephone, operating a cash register. General clerical work as assigned.

(17 hours per week approx, evening and Saturday availability required, must be a resident of the City of Niagara Falls, $11.58 per hour.)

Candidate must reside in the City of Niagara Falls and hold a high school diploma or TASC/GED.

Previous customer service experience would be desirable. Previous public library experience highly valued.
