Job Description

Candidate Responsibilities

Assist in the development of detailed systems reporting for major business systems or technical support and/or development, integration and implementation projects. Applies systems solutions to business/technical problems through customer interactions, design, programing, debugging, testing, and integration/implementation of automated information technology systems and components. This is not a traditional Information Technology role, but a computer systems-focused role within a technical Manufacturing team with the intent to develop customized reporting and systematic solutions for data gathering, manipulation, and reporting. Data will be made available through a variety of systems (SAP, VPPA, TeamCenter, DeviceWise, Infinity/SPC, MS Office, etc.) This person reports to a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Responsibilities on the incumbents are with individual assigned development and/or maintenance of existing mainframe, PC, server, network, and/or distributed computing systems and infrastructure. 1. Able to create reports within SAP MII and Data Visualization (Tableau/Power BI) to develop & deploy throughout manufacturing facility processes. 2. Provide project & system solutions as a project team member. Position will be expected to participate in projects with little supervision. 3. Able to work on complex application development. 4. Perform application quality testing and validation through customer acceptance coordination. 5. Full knowledge of programing languages appropriate for platform support. Spec development, logic & diagrams, and analytic techniques. 6. Perform integration tasks with in-house developed systems & purchased hardware and/or software. 7. Assist customers in training & usability efforts.

Typical Day

This candidate will work in a team environment, spending 10-15% of their time on the shop floor and the rest in an office environment. They will facilitate meetings and present their work and recommendations to the management team.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Technical Skills

SAP, VPPA, TeamCenter, DeviceWise, Infinity/SPC, MS Office

Soft Skills

Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 /year
