Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Lead cycle time studies, work balancing, and process improvement identification and implementation. Implement or support capital projects. Prepare production processes for New Product Introduction. Resolve process concerns and improve existing processes for safety, quality, velocity, or cost.

Typical Day: Spending up to 75% of the day on the shop floor observing manufacturing processes and implementing improvements; working in a team environment; presenting their ideas to peers and management; facilitating meetings; using computer systems to document and implement process changes.

Education Requirements: BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.

Technical Skills: Two years of time studies and process improvement experience.

Soft Skills: Communication, problem solving, time management, computer, and interpersonal skills.


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 /year
