Job Description

Achieve TMS Centers is the nation's largest provider of dTMS treatment, specializing in breakthrough treatment modalities for the treatment of psychiatric conditions. We employ a highly compassionate staff who treat patients on a daily basis in a professional, outpatient setting.

TMS is an innovative approach for treating neurological and psychiatric disorders. It is a non-invasive form of brain stimulation that uses an MRI type coil to send magnetic pulses to improve neuronal connectivity and brain function.

We are looking for motivated and compassionate individuals who have a background in psychology, neuroscience, and/or other biological sciences, or are looking to pursue careers in the medical field. This is an entry level position that offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care.

The TMS Technician is directly responsible for providing patient care utilizing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, a breakthrough treatment modality. This technician will be trained to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of our treating physician. Their primary responsibility will be to administer and manage specific clinical services to our patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Administer daily TMS treatment in a professional, office setting
  • Monitor patients while receiving treatment
  • Create and maintain medical records in our EMR system
  • Provide medical interventions in an emergency situation
  • Conduct in-person intake consultations with new patients
  • Perform equipment positioning for TMS treatment sessions
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy
  • Follow established treatment and office procedures
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and other staff
  • Work independently at specified center
  • Soft Marketing Skills:

  • Track and notate provider contacts and communication in CRM Software
  • Create and update provider databases
  • Contact psychologists and therapists to invite to in services using pre-approved scripts/bullet points.
  • Track and maintain marketing inventory on site
  • Assist with events as requested
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, and/or biological sciences preferred.
  • Associates Degree in related field required
  • The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position.

    Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position (20-30 hours a week) with potential for full time (40 hours per week), depending on location and number of patients. This position regularly requires long hours and some weekend work.

    Required education: Associates Degree or equivalent of 2 years of education

    Preferred: Bachelors in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biological Sciences, EMT, Pre-PA, Pre-Med, MA
