Job Description
: Our Records & Information Management (RIM) Office is responsible for maintaining a uniform global RIM program for the control, retention, storage, retrieval, and disposal of all records and information, regardless of media type, for all functions of The Boeing Company. This team of RIM professionals will support ongoing program operations and strategic initiatives to streamline and simplify the global RIM program. This position will be responsible for providing expertise and leadership in the implementation of the global RIM program, procedures and processes into the global Boeing subsidiary environment. Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the RIM Initiatives Manager specific responsibilities include:
  • Assist and lead in the evaluation and strategy to simplify the management of company records and information throughout the subsidiary global subsidiary environment.
  • Provide support in the implementation of the global RIM program procedures and processes into the global subsidiary environment.
  • Assist and lead in the development of subsidiary RIM processes, procedures and aligned to the global RIM program.
  • Assist and lead subsidiaries with implementation and enforcement of the global record retention schedule and associated record-keeping compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity/experience with working in a global RIM operation including working knowledge of RIM industry tools including awareness of RIM and information governance industry field concepts, practices, procedures and standards.
  • Assist and lead subsidiaries with necessary RIM communications and end-user support of the global RIM Program and services, and provide guidance to subsidiaries in developing and deploying RIM program training awareness/education.
  • Assist and lead subsidiaries in coaching, and/or mentoring others in the lifecycle management of Boeing global business records and information.
  • Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit: This position requires that you work out of Mesa, Arizona, St Louis Missouri or North Charleston, South Carolina. You must currently reside in the Mesa, Arizona, St Louis Missouri and North Charleston, South Carolina area (where relocating would not be required) or be willing to relocate at your own expense.   • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experienced and familiar with Project Management fundamentals
  • Records and Information Management (RIM) related experience including managing and leading RIM processes
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with document and records management
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with Records and Information Management systems, processes and tools
  • Experienced and knowledgeable of Boeing subsidiary environment
  • RIM Training and Education (pursuing or attained) RIM industry certification (CRM, IGP, etc.)
  • Experience with implementing a service in a subsidiary environment
  • Good communication and technology skills are key to success in this job role
  • Typical Education / Experience: Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
