Motion Designer

Job Description

Perception is looking for a mid-level Designer/Animator (2D+3D) to work alongside our team in NYC. The position is available ASAP and only to candidates willing to work on-site in NYC.

An artist in this position will be expected to contribute conceptually, creatively and technically to projects for major film studios and the biggest names in technology, while working alongside highly experienced artists within a terrific learning environment.

Experience + Expectations:

2-5 years professional experience

Design/styleframe experience and killer animation skills

Knowledge of standard industry tools (Creative Cloud + Cinema 4D)

An interest in the cross-section of films & technology (FUI, Title Sequences, AR, VR etc)

Excellent communication skills

Ability to adjust output for given constraints (schedule etc)

An ability and willingness to learn new platforms and technologies (GPU Rendering etc)

Familiarity with any of the following is not required, but is a bonus:

UI/UX, Redshift, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal Engine or Unity
