Job Description


Production Club is a Los Angeles based experiential design and production company that primarily focuses on music events. Some of our most recent projects include the tours of artists such as The Chainsmokers, Deadmau5, Zhu and Skrillex. We also design and produce events such as Amazon Web Services re: Invent, re: Play and The GDC Afterparty for Epic Games.


We are looking for a well balanced CG/FX artist with strong experience in motion graphics and 3D rendering. This is a full-time, in-studio position where you would form part of the show’s visual development team for our upcoming projects.


  • Produce complex 2D and 3D motion design to meet client briefs and expectations
  • Incorporate design direction and feedback from Creative Director
  • Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Produce quality work within a given timeframe and budget
  • Interpreting briefs, estimating production times and presenting the best options to the Creative Director
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, while working within the boundaries of the creative assignment and understanding the latest design trends
  • Explore and keep up-to-date with the latest in design and motion graphics techniques
  • Provide pre-production designs for pitching; including style frames and storyboards
  • Develop style guides for clients
  • Export and deliver appropriate files to the specification given
  • General IT housekeeping of software, plugins, assets, etc


  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates good taste and solid aesthetic capabilities
  • Musical awareness in order to correctly sync music to visual content
  • Ability to adapt and expand an existing art direction
  • Experience managing tight deadlines
  • Experience making smart decisions finding execution techniques that suit the available time
  • Must be confident and have the ability to make decisions independently
  • Senior knowledge of Cinema 4D for motion graphics as well as the drive to constantly learn
  • Experience with Octane Render or Redshift
  • Strong knowledge about 3D composition in After Effects and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of VJing software and VJ experience is preferred


  • Experience in the use of particle software, ideally X-Particles 4
  • Experience with Unreal Engine focused on the realization of motion graphics; that is, import assets and animations, create shaders, manage cameras and prepare sequences and renders
  • Basics of modeling and UV unfolding
  • Knowledge of rigging and animation
  • Some knowledge of Substance Painter or Designer, not so much to use them but to use textures generated by them
  • Basic understanding of VJing and how visuals work in concerts (ie. preparing loops at tempo for Arena Resolume).
  • Rhythm and musical knowledge
