The office associate is the foundation for the program because they ensure the running of the office and set the tone for the work environment. The office associate is a strong support to operations, maintains and creates procedures, communication and safety. The efficiency that the office associate brings will enable us to nurture the environment for the families we serve.
Essential Skills:
Schedule meetings and appointments
Implement established policies and procedures, measure outcomes against standards
Organize office layout and order program supplies such as furniture and inventory for the office
Organize and coordinate scheduling inspections DHS, OTDA, and other funders
Identifying vendors, procuring proposals for bids, and following up on them
Coordinate and Liaison with outside vendors and other henry street departments
Coordinator and register trainings for staff so all personnel’s certifications are up to date
Proficient in Google Suite, ZOOM, and Microsoft Office

In this role a day with us looks like:
You arrive on site and check to make sure that the program director has all of her appointments and schedule for the day
Follow up on action items from housing inspection with other departments
Check in with the administrative staff to see if they need support around inventory
Update the program director of an upcoming inspections from funders and notify the team to prepare
