Job Summary

  • Can be an MA, LPN ( Pay based on credentials and experience)
  • JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the physician with patient care including, but is not limited to; taking vital signs, obtaining a history and chief complaint and assisting with select surgery procedures. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication, nursing procedures, such as suture removal, dressing changes and lab requisition documents when needed.

    Duties

  • Preparation of exam and treatment rooms.
  • Escorts patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times. Obtains short history and vital signs as required by the patient’s chief complaint. Obtains or updates medication list as necessary. Sets up exam room according to a scheduled procedure or anticipate physicians needs if the non-scheduled procedure is likely.
  • Assists physicians with surgical procedures such as excisions and other items needed.
  • Completes disability forms with established time frames.
  • Maintains daily logs and monitors and tracks all expiration dates of supplies and drugs.
  • *Straightens and cleans exam rooms after patient visits.
  • *Performs nursing procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes and other items required by the physician.
  • **Preferred, but not required: Proven success with social media marketing.**

    MA, LPN

    Job Type: Part-time

    Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
