The , Department of Children and Families ( ) seeks a qualified individual for a Principal Psychiatrist in Middletown at the facility. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week on first shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm, including on-call duties as assigned (compensated additionally). The individual in this position will be responsible for the psychiatric care of adolescents, will lead an interdisciplinary treatment team, and coordinate the execution of comprehensive treatment plans. The candidate may also have the opportunity to train and supervise post graduate trainees in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the Yale Child Study Center or UCONN training programs.
