  • DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    As a Public Utility Auditor Trainee, you will learn to observe and make limited judgments along with assisting higher level auditors in the performance of a variety of financial and operational audits of regulated utilities. You will assist in the conduct of onsite audits of public utility companies and determine that internal accounting practices and procedures follow generally accepted standards. You will also assist in the preparation of complex written reports, detailing conclusions and recommendations resulting from financial or operating reviews and analyses. Successful completion of the 12 month training period will result in a promotion to a Public Utility Auditor 1 with an increase in salary!

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    Qualifications:

  • Must meet PA residency requirement
  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - Graduation from college with a bachelor's degree that includes or is supplemented by a minimum of twenty-four credits in accounting
