Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain Whistle's automation platform with a focus on Mobile
  • Work closely with Whistle's engineering team to build reliable and scaleable automation test suites on iOS and Android platforms
  • Analyze current QA practices and help build automated test suites (functionality, regression, smoke, sanity, etc.) to minimize or eliminate inefficiencies in the testing process
  • Contribute in design review meetings to help define requirements and potential impact to testing
  • Help qualify major and minor releases to production
  • Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience with automation using iOS and Android native tools
  • 3+ years experience of functional QA (manual/blackbox)
  • Clear and detailed verbal and written communication skills
  • Logical, creative thinker, problem solver and can troubleshoot across multiple platforms
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable code
  • Practiced time estimation and management skills
  • Experience working on production applications that have a wide reach
  • Demonstrate ability to execute and improve upon existing QA processes and workflows
  • * Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining on-task and deadline oriented * Experience mentoring functional QA members on automation testing
  • Comfortable writing documentation
  • Asks questions and willingness to learn
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience working with IOT products
  • Familiarity with jira/testrail/confluence/postman/cucumber
  • Love for animals
