Responsibilities
Build tools, frameworks, and other infrastructure needed to support automation.
Design, code, and implement automation framework & tests in physical and virtual environments
Proactively solve technical problems and suggest process improvements.
Create, maintain, and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests.
Work closely with multi-functional teams in understanding the requirements
Responsible for creating the performance test plan, test strategy document, managing performance test scheduling and logistics, after reviewing and verifying performance requirements. Includes analysis, reporting and presenting performance test results to stakeholders.
Worked on different applications at hCentive and served as a Performance Test Lead for several Projects.
Involved in creating and maintaining of the projects using HP Performance Center 11.52, Jmeter.
Executed Load Runner/Jmeter scenarios based on complex business scenarios with different monitors for Stress testing, Scalability testing, Failover testing, and Load testing.
Maintained Jboss application server which was used for performance testing, performed start/stop, made changes to the properties files as needed for performance tuning.
Created and executed Load Runner scenarios with Failover conditions, high volume, Network latency, etc.
Report defects in a timely fashion and work to manage defects until issues are resolved.
Provide test case coverage and defect metrics to substantiate release decisions.
Assist in ongoing process improvement efforts related to Quality.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technology
Experience in Java, Selenium/ Cucumber, BDD framework and Python.
Experience in Performance testing of Web based and Client/Server applications with Protractor and JMeter.
Having good experience on protocols like HTTP/HTML, Web services and Ajax true client using Load runner VuGen
Experience in conducting different performance tests including Load, stress, Endurance, Spike, Volume testing's on multiple applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ skills
Programming programming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as VBScript and Java using Selenium/Cucumber
Analytical skills analytically examine bug reports, prioritize vital tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes
Problem-solving skills problem-solving skills to find bugs and build fixes for them
Expertise in Performance Testing tools using JMeter/ Performance center, Load Runner, Gatling Problem-solving skills problem-solving skills to find bugs and build fixes for them
Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behaviour. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
Analyse the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications
