Job Description: We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to work on multiple software development projects for one of our clients in the NY City area.The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst plays a crucial role in the building and executing test plans for strategic projects. This role will work very closely with product owners, subject matter experts, business analysts and the application development team to produce test plans and conduct software testing. This role will require an understanding of business processes to ensure that test results align to achieve optimal desired state. Testing activities need to meet business requirements, fulfill end-user requirements and identify potential issues and/or gaps.Primary Duties: Collaborate with agile teams to develop effective strategies and test plans.Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results; Use the test plans to assess functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems.Work with cross-functional Agile and Business teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.Create, review and refine user experience documents.Participates in all project meetings.Monitor internal control systems.Assure accuracy of programs and software prior to production.Consult current literature to investigate software malfunctions.Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing.Conduct regular software audits.Maintain working knowledge of quality standards, ensure that testing strategies are current.Develop quality assurance standards as needed. Required Skills: U.S. citizen and must be able to go through a basic background check.Bachelor s Degree5+ years of experience in testing software applications including developing and executing test cases and test plansKnowledge of quality standardsExperience in developing and maintaining testing processes and protocolsExperience in communicating quantitative and qualitative findings from the test results to the development teamExperience with various project management methodologies/frameworks waterfall, rapid development, Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban etc.) and regression testingReview and analyze system specificationsAbility to spot areas for improvement to enhance the user experience and the product s efficiency Desired Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skillsExcellent Written and verbal communication skillsExcellent listening, presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageAbility to work independently or as part of a teamSelf-motivated, proactive, resourceful and enthusiastic; ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environmentExperience with CRM Applications
